A physical barrier and intrusion detector in one. Tensioned wire lines with mechanical sensor posts deliver very high probability of detection (PD) with an extremely low nuisance alarm rate (NAR) — with no climate calibration, ever.
Each detection zone consists of horizontally tensioned wire lines (spacing typically 9–20 cm, zone length typically up to 60 m) strung between anchor posts. Sensor posts mounted between the anchors each carry mechanical transducers, and every transducer monitors the two adjacent wire lines.
Pulling, cutting or spreading the wires unbalances the tension array and raises an alarm. Because the wires are closely spaced, an intruder cannot pass through without detection. Sensors are grouped into up to 6 alarm groups per post column (bottom / middle / top), so the control room sees where on the fence the attempt is happening — and climb attempts can be distinguished from other disturbance types.
The sensors are purely mechanical with a self-compensating mechanism: soil movement, temperature swings and adjacent RF transmitters cause no drift. Install on wall tops, free-standing fence lines, or at 45° outriggers over an existing fence.
